The first thing you need to know about Dr. Hansen’s experience with NUCCA (National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association) is it began long before he became a practitioner himself. That’s right! Dr. Hansen is living proof of the health and wellness benefits that come from this unique form of chiropractic.

Dr. Hansen’s Personal Experience with NUCCA
Dr. Hansen grew up in Southern California and enjoyed playing many different sports. However, it was a back injury sustained while playing hockey that first introduced him to chiropractic care. Being adjusted back to health was a formative experience and helped him to select a career that holds deep meaning and fulfillment.
However, back pain was not Dr. Hansen’s only ailment. By age 23, he was already coping with hypertension (high blood pressure), allergies, and migraines. NUCCA resolved all three of these conditions for him completely. Now Dr. Hansen’s focus had been narrowed down from chiropractic in general to the specialized form of chiropractic that changed his life – NUCCA.

Education and Professional Credentials
Dr. Hansen attended Cal State San Bernardino where he majored in Biology. He then transferred to Cleveland Chiropractic College and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After obtaining a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Hansen practiced in Coral Springs, Florida under the tutelage of Dr. Justin Brown (a NUCCA Part II Certified practitioner). In 2014, Dr. Hansen returned to Southern California to set up his practice, providing Laguna Hills and the surrounding communities with a nearby NUCCA chiropractor.

Philosophy Toward Health Care
Dr. Hansen believes that healthy people are happier, so his goal is to take individuals who are merely surviving due to illness or pain and help them to lead thriving lives. A holistic (whole person) approach that looks for underlying causes of problems rather than addressing symptoms is the focus of his practice – Precision Spinal Care.

Christina’s journey in chiropractic began in 2012, where she honed her skills conducting spinal screenings and connecting with patients. At this job turned passion is where she met her now husband Dr. Hansen.

In May 2014, alongside her husband, Dr. Scott Hansen, she co-founded Precision Spinal Care. From the day they opened their doors on September 15, 2014, Christina took on a pivotal role as a Chiropractic Assistant, managing the front desk.

From scheduling and office organization to managing the day-to-day operations, Christina mastered every facet of running a successful practice. Together, she and Dr. Hansen have invested countless weekends attending screenings and marketing events, driven by their shared commitment to community outreach and practice growth.

Now serving as Operations Manager, Christina brings her experience and heart to make Precision Spinal Care feel like home. Her leadership fosters a welcoming environment where patients and staff thrive together.

She has a personal testimonial as debilitating migraines disrupted her life. Traditional treatments failed but NUCCA care brought lasting relief, transforming her everyday life and health and inspiring her passion for helping others.

A fun fact about Christina is that she originally studied to become an elementary school teacher, and she brings that same creativity, enthusiasm, and warmth to the office every day

Alexia Molina is the CA (Chiropractic Assistant) at Precision Spinal Care. She began in June 2024. With a professional background in customer service spanning both libraries and retail, she developed a strong passion for helping others and creating positive experiences.

She was introduced to chiropractic care back in 2021 due to back pain and migraines. This experience sparked a journey toward improved health and well-being.

Some of Alexia’s favorite parts of her current role at PSC include the great teamwork and building lasting connections with the patients. She is dedicated to supporting the Hispanic community by breaking down language barriers.

In her free time, Alexia enjoys spending time with her loved ones, exploring the outdoors, and learning about different cultures. She lives by the philosophy of embracing the moment, prioritizing today over the past or future. To her, each day is a valuable opportunity to become the best version of herself

Nicole Rivera has been our CA Tech since March of 2024. She is in school for Health Sciences and hopes to be a future registered nurse! She loves to be surrounded by friends and family, celebrating and connecting through fun gatherings and social events. Nicole has been working in customer service for about 4 years and has always sought to create more opportunities in the medical field to assist those in need of help. She loves building connections with our patients during treatment therapies and witnessing their significant progress each treatment. Nicoles' personal philosophy centers on the belief that health is fundamental to happiness. Prioritizing self-care is essential for nurturing one's well-being.
